From the UEFI Forum:

Hello UEFI Forum Members,

Registration now open for the  Spring 2019 UEFI Plugfest on April 8-12, 2019 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle Bellevue.

We apologize for the delay in opening registration, however, this year the UEFI Forum is attempting to improve the registration and testing component of the Plugfest by improving the tools and mechanisms for registering and scheduling testing at the event. The result is an improvement in the registration process, where attendees can define their role at the event during registration. This will allow event organizers to schedule testing immediately after registration closes through the start of the event.

An additional change made in the registration questions, is that the UEFI Forum will no longer ask for specifics of the products under test, but rather will allow the testers and test rooms to communicate directly about their testing plans without UEFI involvement.

Lastly, the UEFI Forum will begin charging registration fees to help defray the rising costs of the Plugfests. Fees are as follows;
  • US $150 for Promoters, Contributors and Adopters
  • US $100 for Individual Adopters

The fee will allow for a more predictable outcome in terms of helping forecast attendance and more accurately estimate event costs. For details on the Spring 2019 UEFI Plugfest Fees and Rules click here

UEFI Plugfests provide the opportunity to test your platforms, devices, and firmware, while also attending educational/technical sessions and networking opportunities with industry’s most prolific thought-leaders.

The four-day event also showcases the latest in UEFI specification enhancements and how our community advancements are changing the industry on a global level. Plan your future product designs and more.

Thank you so much! We look forward to seeing our UEFI Forum Members in the Pacific Northwest.
